V.A.M.R.R is a project in partnership with the U.S. Air Force and University of Dayton Research Institute with the goal of creating extended reality systems to support activities such as spraying, coating, and robotics control.
Every year Bradley University and Caterpillar host a UX Student Challenge. This challenge entails groups of Junior and Senior students coming together in order to find and create design solutions for the challenge topic chosen by Caterpillar’s UX team.
This year the topic for the UX Student Challenge is training and onboarding for machine operators.
Groups work through the entire design process from research to user testing. By the end of the 8 week challenge, groups present our functional prototypes to the Caterpillar team.
