Trail Share is mobile app design that I made to challenge myself over the summer of 2024. I made the design in a little under two days using Figma.
The purpose of the app is for all levels of hikers to share their photos that are taken on trails around the U.S. The key function of this app is the “trail info” button. This allows users to look at any photo in their feed or selected region and quickly and easily find all the information one might need to know about a hike; with one simple click.
For Trail Share I chose a monotone pallet with organic fonts to give the app a naturalistic feel. This felt more proper for the app compared to a standard minimalistic social media design. The green background with simple off-white UI ensures that nothing takes away from the photos being shared.
