Broadside is a literary and fine arts journal that contains work from Bradley University students across all majors. The journal has two volumes published through-out the school year, and they are created and published by a small group of students. This group consists of our editors, evaluators, social media outreach, graphic asset designer, and me the project manager.
I’ve been part of Broadside for two years now, and within that time I have gotten to aid in the production of four journals. During this time I also earned a promotion from graphic asset designer, to project manager.
As graphic asset designer, I was responsible for creating social media posters, event posters, Broadsheets, and most importantly designing the assets for the interior of the journal.
Once I was promoted to project manager I was left in charge of the layout and creation of the journal; including but not limited to selecting fonts, formatting, design, communicating with other teams, and ensuring all selected projects dont require edits.
What you can see on this page is only a small amount of the work I have done for Broadside, but these few are what I consider my favorite pieces.
