I come from a small rural town in Northern Illinois. I am currently enrolled at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Where I will be graduating in the spring of 2027 with a bachelors in User Experience design with a complementary major in Graphic Design, and a minor in Organizational Communications.
I luckily discovered UX & UI design in high school and have been perusing the career since. Finding out that there was a job out there where I get to better people’s lives while also getting to create new ideas and designs seemed like a dream to me.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take graphic design, game programming, and a computer repair classes during my high school years. Each one of these classes solidifying my skills and helping me grow. These classes also made it clear to me that user experience would be my future career and passion.
Through my current experience in high school and college I have learned how to create many different things including but not limited to: wireframes, posters, user personas, vector art, videogames, animations, websites, journals, and journey maps. This variety of projects has also led me to use many different software platforms including Adobe Suite, Unity, Blender, WordPress, and Figma. I also have experience with many ticketing systems such as Jira, Corona, Trello, and Freedcamp
I have a strong love for art, design, and surprisingly baking. But what I have always loved to do most is help other people anyway that I can, and my career allows me to do just that.
